LIGHTS OVER THE BALKANS – contemporary art exhibition

February 16 – March 3, 2024, Sala Noua Galerie, National Museum of the Romanian Peasant, Bucharest, Romania.

In this exhibition I will present paintings from the Imaginary Maps series.

The National Museum of Romanian Literature, in partnership with the National Museum of the Romanian Peasant, the Embassy of the Republic of Turkey in Bucharest, the Association of Turkish Business People, the Romanian-Turkish Association “Art without borders” and the ISTSANAT Association, organizes, at the National Museum of the Romanian Peasant – hall Noua Galerie, between February 16 and March 3, 2024, the multidisciplinary exhibition Lights over the Balkans.

The exhibition, a continuation of the events dedicated to the celebration of the Centenary of the Republic of Turkey and the 146 years of Turkish-Romanian diplomatic relations, presents the works of 20 contemporary artists, from Turkey and Romania (12 Turkish artists and 8 Romanian artists), in an eclectic format , which includes various styles, modes of expression and techniques (drawing, painting, sculpture, ceramics, glass, photography, collage, video).

From themes that capture the soul of Istanbul, to ethnographic and symbolic, figurative and abstract themes, the exhibition reveals to the viewer the richness and cultural diversity of the two countries, but also the common elements that define the Balkan space.

The exhibition can be visited in Sala Noua Galerie, from February 16 to March 3, 2024, from Wednesday to Sunday, between 10.00 and 18.00. It is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.

În această expoziție eu voi prezenta picturi din seria Hărți imaginare

Muzeul Național al Literaturii Române, în parteneriat cu Muzeul Național al Țăranului Român, Ambasada Republicii Türkiye la București, Asociația Oamenilor de Afaceri Turci, Asociația Româno-Turcă „Artă fără frontiere” și Asociația ISTSANAT, organizează, la Muzeul Național al Țăranului Român – sala Noua Galerie, în perioada 16 februarie – 3 martie 2024, expoziția multidisciplinară Lumini peste Balcani.

Expoziția, o continuare a evenimentelor dedicate celebrării Centenarului Republicii Türkiye și celor 146 de ani de relații diplomatice turco-române, prezintă lucrările a 20 de artiști contemporani, din Türkiye și România (12 artiști turci și 8 artiști români), într-un format eclectic, ce include stiluri, modalități de expresie și tehnici diverse (desen, pictură, sculptură, ceramică, sticlă, fotografie, colaj, video).

De la teme care surprind sufletul Istanbulului, la teme etnografice și simbolice, figurative și abstracte, expoziția dezvăluie privitorului bogăția și diversitatea culturală a celor două țări, dar și elementele comune care definesc spațiul balcanic.

Expoziția va putea fi vizitată în Sala Noua Galerie, din 16 februarie – 3 martie 2024, de miercuri până duminică, între orele 10.00 și 18.00. Luni și marți este închis.
