GRADINA IDEILOR (THE GARDEN OF IDEAS) – ETAJ MAHAL – NOVEMBER 2
The exhibition “The Garden of Ideas” can be visited at ETAJ MAHAL, within the Combinatul Fondului Plastic in Bucharest, 29 Băiculești Street, between November 2 – November 28, 2025, by appointment.
The opening reception will take place on November 2, between 5:00 PM and 9:00 PM.
We are pleased to invite you to the first collective presentation of the artistic laboratory born in Nucșoara — a project dedicated to exploring the relationship between nature, community, and creation.

In the heart of the Făgăraș Mountains, in Nucșoara (Argeș County), the Garden of Ideas project, initiated by artist Maia Ștefana Oprea, has taken shape over five years of field activities. The exhibition brings together ten artists who, through residencies and collaborative practices, have explored how art can enter into dialogue with nature and local materials.
The exhibited works reflect slow processes, observation, transformation, and reconnection — central themes for this artistic collective. The Garden of Ideas has developed as a space for experimentation and learning, where art, sustainability, and community spirit naturally come together.
Through this first collective appearance, the artists aim to build a bridge between their experiences in nature and the exhibition space, marking the beginning of future artistic collaborations and shared creative explorations.

I will exhibit a new series of watercolor paintings that brings to attention the fate of the forest, to the way we relate to nature, and to the relationship humans have with wood.
