Crime scene

Speed kills!

Carelessness kills!

Disobeying the law kills!

Every day, road accidents with victims occur on roads around the world. The news begins with reports of traffic incidents that have taken place in recent hours…

People who happen to be in the wrong place at the wrong time are seriously injured. Innocent people die as a result of accidents.

At the global level, the most recent statistics published by the World Health Organization show that road traffic accidents claim approximately 1.19–1.2 million lives each year. This means: over 3,200 deaths per day, more than 2 people every minute…

Approximately 20–50 million people are injured annually, many of whom are left with disabilities.

Around 92% of deaths occur in low- and middle-income countries.

Road traffic accidents are the leading cause of death among young people aged 5 to 29.

Road accidents remain one of the biggest global public health issues, with around 1.2 million victims each year, despite slow progress in reducing the number of deaths.

Although the statistics are alarming, people continue to drive aggressively, at high speed, sometimes inattentively or under the influence of alcohol and drugs, and traffic laws are often not respected… All these factors cause victims not only among people, but also among other living beings.

The rush to reach a destination puts the lives of others and even our own at risk.

This series of illustrations does not aim to present an aesthetic, pleasant image, but rather to draw attention to this reality: the road has become a place of crime.

Viteza ucide!

Neatenția ucide!

Nerespectarea legii ucide!
