The colors of the sea in the light of dawn or dusk, on cloudy or stormy days, as I have seen from various shores.
These watercolors are inspired by seascapes that I have seen at the Black Sea, the Aegean Sea, the Ionian Sea, the Adriatic Sea, the Tyrrhenian Sea, but also the Atlantic Ocean, the North Sea or the English Channel.
Tecnique: Granulating watercolor pigments and Lunar Black pigment Daniel Smith watercolor on Lanaquarelle paper, sizes: 28×38 cm, 19×28 cm, 2022 – 2023.
